Orientation Program Held for 12th MBBS Batch at Brahmanbaria Medical College

The orientation ceremony welcomed the 12th MBBS batch at Brahmanbaria Medical College on 17 June 2025, with faculty and new students in attendance.

Brahmanbaria Medical College (BMC) held an orientation program on 17 June 2025 to welcome its 12th MBBS batch of students. This ceremony coincided with a nationwide orientation day for first-year MBBS students held across all medical colleges under the Ministry of Health on the same date. At the BMC campus event, second-year students greeted the new local and international students with flowers, followed by an oath-taking ceremony for the freshers.

Prof. Dr. Zakiur Rahman, Principal of Brahmanbaria Medical College, presided over the program, and Mr. Saimum Sairas, Managing Director of Brahmanbaria Medical College Hospital Ltd., attended as the chief guest. Faculty members – including the heads of Phase I departments and the phase coordinator – briefly introduced the academic curriculum to the incoming students & inspired them. During the program, several new students and parents shared their impressions and enthusiasm. The college also presented welcome gifts to the freshers, and the event concluded with a tree-planting activity on campus involving the new students.
